In the sweet memories of my BELOVED SHIMMER PALETTE!!!

I am full of sorrow and grief as my most favourite and mostly used eyeshadows shimmer palette broke in a stupid stumbling accident :( Why is that you loose something you love the most, need the most and then it goes away for ever. I am speechless and SAD. I saw one of Just Gold Shimmer palette with my friend and always wanted to have one. I spotted this in a makeup store for Pkr 295 and bought it, I don't know this one is discontinued or what as it was hard to find. Till that day I loved it. Each shimmery strip gave a wonderful colour to my eyes and it was my favourite on-the-go palette. It was travel-friendly until I dropped it by mistake and its lid was detached broken. But even this couldn't stop me to use it. When traveling I have always carried it in my makeup bag, I fixed the lid and locked it. I mostly used the lighter shade of all to highlight my brow bone it gave a very subtle yet shimmery highlight to the brow bones. It has beautiful neutrals and brown shades. All the shades gave a very subtle shimmery look, it was a perfect shimmer palette that even young girls can use. I hope I find it again, I will definitely buy this one.
I did a eye makeup look and used this palette, the other morning I was taking pictures of the products used in the look. I was carrying my bucket back to the room when I stumbled and every thing fell down. The rest of the makeup was saved even my eye shadow from Luscious and TBS but as this one was lid-less so it smashed down and mashed up....all broken...breaking my heart...leaving me forever...:( I always wanted to review this palette and wanted to share this little wonder with you, never thought it would have been like this.
I know it is not from a high-end brand, not very expensive, not most raved and well reviewed palette...but if you are a true makeup lover you can feel my pain.

sorry that you lost your palette. When my makeup product breaks my desire to use it dies.

Ohhh so sad :( Maybe you can buy Sleek face and body highlighter . It has strips of different shades like these
ReplyDeleteAww...sorry to hear that you broke your Shimmer palette! I know how you feel. I have dropped and broke several of my MAC eyeshadows and earlier this year just when I was about to take photos for my blog I dropped my MAC Peachtwist blush. I was able to salvage most of it though..
