SPARKLING'S EXPERIENCE:

Before reviewing let me explain few things to all my readers (as per my knowledge as I am not a MUA but a learner) Why I chose this shade and what I expected? Actually I was looking for a GOOD concealer for concealing and brightening my under-eye area, although I don't have those worse night-marish dark circles but still a makeup look is SO incomplete without a well-concealed and brightening under-eyes, agreed? for reference I am NC 20-25. Earlier I was using one from MUA but my bad that it was discontinued, well then I tried one more in "natural"shade from L.A Girl cosmetics but it turned my under eye area ash-y, although its doing perfect for my blemishes etc. So something was going wrong here and there. After allot of search and research I came to know that for under eye concealing one should go with a tinted concealer most likely a yellow/orange/salmon shaded or warm-undertoned. Yes here is where most of us commit the mistake, we usually go for lighter or lightest shade for under eyes which either make them ashy-y or whitewashed, "the Lighter shades of concealer are very good for highlighting brow-bones, cupid arches or a well concealed under-eye OR you have perfect under-eyes or you are a MUA who knows their game pretty well"(I am none). Well when I was given an option to choose a shade I chose 1.5 which had few undertones (as per the shade chart) and now let's review this to know that did my logic worked or....

First of all let me congratulate Luscious team for re-launching their Best-Seller Studio Concealer, this time with total 5 shades, means more options for our Asian skin. The box in which it came is always my love, this is why I added a picture of it too <3 It has a paper box all-black with info typed in white. The packaging is sturdy, a little fat black pen type bottle with a brush-head (along with a cap) and the bottom can be twisted to squeeze out the product, pretty well and handy. The shade, as per my expectation has a warm undertone somewhat like very light-salmon (yellow+peach). The consistency is not very thick and neither too liquidy. I twisted a little on my hand and with the same brush-head applied on my under-eyes, with the help of my Luscious concealer brush, 12 pc Diva brush set, I blended it around my eyes and gave few final touches with my ring-finger's tip cushion. One thing you have to be careful about is that it dries very quickly, but don't worry then your finger tip will help to warm the product and blend well. It worked! yes it worked my under-eye didn't turn ash-y, rather it looked well-concealed and brightened up, see the swatch pictures above. Now I did a mole test, it hid a in-grown mole on my hand pretty well but with double coat. Works perfect on any scar or blemish too but blending is the key. Now one more amazing point it is waterproof, yes it is, when I tried to wash my hand's swatch it didn't came off rather water stayed on it. So it is a saviour for ladies with Oily skin. Can be removed with any regular makeup remover/cleanser. Over all I am impressed with this beauty which is affordable, locally available, cruelty free and delivers more than what it claims. So a Big Hello to Brightened and well concealed eyes!!!

  1. Nice review. But I'm glad I didn't choose shade 1.5 since this is very yellow for my skin. Yellows never suit my skin tone. I have neutral to slight pink umdertones.

  11. nice review and wow I am seriously impressed by the concealer. It not only matched you but looks bright and pretty too.Great job on swatches. If it has yellow undertones I think it would work great for most pakistani skin tones. You see a very major mistake we commit while looking for foundation or concealer is buying pink ones. They can cause a huge shade mismatch.I learned this while using MAC concealer.it works better then pink concealers for me.does not turn grey.Great job dear. This one is on my wishlist now.xoxoxo
